"Rik did a song and dance routine complete with dancing girls as Dickie Gurgerstein his dreadful American stand-up comedian whose catchphrase was "Big One!" on a sketch show called "81 Take 2". This was a one off made by BBC Scotland for hogmanay 1981 and was networked on BBC 1 Dec 31st 1981. This show was incidentally Robbie Coltrane's first outing in a TV comedy show and was where he met Rik for the first time. It was also Celia Imrie's first outing in a TV comedy show.

Rik also portrayed Dickie Gurgerstein in an edition of the BBC show Friday Night Saturday Morning in 1980/81and I think he released a single called "Big One!" but I'm not sure."

When the second film came out, Rik was not included in that one either. So....Rik is now rumored to have his appearance included in the third Harry Potter film. The saga continues.....
